Step 1: saute onion, ginger, garlic in ghee along with jeera.
Step 2: Addition of tomato paste and saute it.
Step 3: Add coriander powder, cumin powder and garam masala, mix it well and cook for 2 min.
Step 4: Addition of boiled urad dal and rajma and mix it well and cook for 5 to 7 min. Add coriander power, cumin power and garam masala, mix it well and cook for 2 min and then Add coriander leaves, mix it well and cook for 2 min
Step 5: Take another small pan, add butter 2 tsp, after butter get melt, add ½ tsp red chilli powder, mix it well in low flame. This is called Tadka.
Step 6: now add this Tadka into dal makhani,
Step 7: Transfer this into bowl, add butter, garnish with coriander leaves, add 2 tsp fresh cream to improve your serve experience. Similarly, dal makhani with milk also can be tried. There is no much difference between Amritsari dal makhani recipe and Punjabi dal makhani recipe, both are using the same ingredients with small change in qty.
Instead of adding rice rinsed water, one can use milk and this becomes a new recipe called dal makhani with milk.
