Gobi Manchurian recipe – Step by step description

  • Take 500gm grated cabbage in a bowl, add salt as required and mix well.
  • close the bowl and leave it aside for 15 minutes.
  • Now, extract the water from the cabbage and keep it aside to use for gravy.
  • Now, add 2 tbsp all-purpose flour to the cabbage, 1 tbsp rice flour, 2 tbsp cornflour, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 chopped onion, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp soya sauce, and mix well.
  • Add 1 tsp garam masala if required and make the mixture into balls.
  • Deep fry all the balls in medium flame. Deep fry till golden brown.
  • Add 2 tbsp oil in a pan, 3 chopped garlic, 1 spring onion, 1/2 capsicum, 1 tsp green chilli sauce, 1 tsp red chilli sauce, 1 tsp soya sauce, 1 tsp tomato sauce, and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Now, in a bowl, take 1 tbsp cornflour, add some water and mix well.
  • Add the cornflour paste to the mixture, cabbage extract water, 1 cup water, salt as required, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add some spring onion, deep-fried cabbage balls, and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Gobi Manchurian is now ready to serve.

  • Soya sauce – 1 tsp
  • Tomato sauce – 1 tsp
